These low profile 96-well PCR reaction plates are similar to the regular CLS-3615 series, however, each of the tubes only has a volume of 100uL, thereby reducing the dead space between sample and cover. They are thin-walled and designed for rapid thermal transfer. Precision molded to ensure well-to-well and plate-to-plate uniformity. All sealing methods can be used for oil-free operation: domed and flat cap strips and CLS-4001 series sealing films and foils are available. Suitable to be used with all 96-well shaped cyclers such as: Ericomp Twinblock, Perkin Elmer 9600 and MJ Research 100/200 96V. The flexible design accommodates differences in expansion coefficients between the metal thermal cycler block and polypropylene tubes. An alphanumeric grid helps in sample identification. To facilitate orientation, the two left corners of the plate are cut away. The AMPLATE™ is easy to seal since no cylindrical wall extend above the plate. More economical than using single tubes, it is available in four popular colors or colorless. Autoclavable. Packed in cases of 100 with tamper-proof, re-sealable bags of 10 plates each.
